Operating revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $6.25 billion, down from $5.73 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $6.64 billion.
For 2025, the company continues to expect adjusted EPS in the range of $3.45 to $3.70. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.67.
For 2026 and 2027, NextEra Energy maintained its adjusted EPS outlook in the ranges of $3.63 to $4.00 and $3.85 to $4.32, respectively. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.99 in 2026 and $4.34 in 2027.
NextEra Energy shares were up over 1% in recent premarket activity.
