4月23日，第21届上海国际汽车工业展览会期间，宁德时代举办“巧克力换电”新车型发布仪式。活动现场，宁德时代与广汽集团签署全面战略合作协议。广汽集团作为首家与“巧克力换电”全生态合作的车企，将在更多旗下车型引入“巧克力”标准，并在换电站建设、电池银行业务、换电车型营销推广及退役电池梯次利用等多领域与宁德时代展开全面合作。
发布仪式上，宁德时代“巧克力换电”与一汽、长安、北汽、奇瑞、广汽五大车企共同发布10款“巧克力换电”新车型。
广汽集团宣布埃安UT、埃安RT、智驾SUV埃安V霸王龙与一款即将上市的A级SUV，将全面推出“巧克力换电”车型。此外，一汽红旗推出首款“巧克力B+级换电”轿车EH7；长安汽车推出十万内通勤轿车启源A05、中大型数智轿车启源A07和深蓝SL03运动轿跑；北汽极狐推出高品质宽体电动家庭轿车；奇瑞iCAR V23推出首款“巧克力方盒子”车型。
迄今为止，宁德时代“巧克力换电”网络建设已落地16个城市，年内将完成30城1000站计划。其中广州、深圳、佛山、东莞四地是粤港澳大湾区首批“巧克力换电”站落地城市，后续珠海、香港、澳门也将于今年计划建设。
