央视网消息： 经过4500公里的铁路运输，全国首趟中欧铁空联运班列4月21日上午抵达乌鲁木齐，将在这里从铁路转成航空运输前往欧洲。

班列4月18日从广州国际港站始发，在运行66小时后抵达乌鲁木齐三坪站，将从这里快速短驳运输到乌鲁木齐天山国际机场航空物流港，转经航空货运包机运输至欧洲。此前，华南地区运往欧洲的跨境电商货物多是先由汽车运输至乌鲁木齐集结，再转航运飞往欧洲。班列的开行让境内运输环节更加便捷高效。

国铁乌鲁木齐局95306货运物流服务中心副主任刘洋介绍，这趟班列的开行为进出口企业提供了更加经济、高效、灵活的运输选择，与公路相比，不受天气等因素的影响，运输时效提升15%以上，预计每年节省物流经济成本超千万元。

班列的成功开通填补了国内中欧铁空联运领域的空白，为“一带一路”中欧物流注入了全新活力。据了解，利用货运班列加航班联运，将粤港澳大湾区的货物发往欧洲，全程运输时间控制在7天之内，这不仅满足了进出口企业紧急订单对时效性的要求，也为跨境电商货源稳定供应提供了强有力的保障。
