Jetour, the sport-utility vehicle unit of Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery, is entering select European markets in the third quarter, targeting continent-wide sales by 2027, Reuters reported Wednesday.
The brand will avoid European Union tariffs by initially offering combustion and plug-in hybrid models, according to the report.
Jetour aims to sell 800,000 vehicles in 2025, higher than the previous year's global sales of 560,000 units, with overseas sales projected to hit 50% in a few years, Reuters wrote.
If successful, Jetour will consider local production in Europe, according to the report.
