欧洲航运业到2050年可能因未能加快清洁燃料采用而面临高达810亿欧元(合930亿美元)的履约成本。目前,干散货船和客船在履约方面处于领先地位,但2035年后罚款将大幅增加。FuelEU和国际海事组织(IMO)的目标可能共同加速低碳技术的采用。
若不加快清洁燃料采用,到2050年,欧洲航运业可能面临超过810亿欧元的FuelEU Maritime履约成本。
干散货船和客船目前在履约方面处于领先地位,但2040年至2044年,它们面临的罚款将最高,年均达到117亿欧元。
油轮目前因使用液化天然气(LNG)和液化石油气(LPG)而保持履约盈余,但若不转向合成替代品,2040年后可能面临履约缺口。
散货船在清洁燃料采用方面进展缓慢,预计将占2045–2049年所有罚款的13%。
