Varonis Systems (VRNS) and Pure Storage (PSTG) have formed a partnership to integrate Varonis' data security tools into Pure's storage platforms, the companies said Monday.

Financial details of the partnership weren't disclosed.

Varonis said its platform now works with Pure Storage's FlashArray and FlashBlade systems to scan, classify, and monitor sensitive data, enabling automated threat detection and access control. Pure Storage said its customers can use Varonis tools to identify overexposed data, remove excessive permissions, and recover quickly from cyber incidents using immutable snapshots.

Shares of Varonis were down 1.8%, while shares of Pure Storage were down nearly 2% in recent Monday trading.
