MMG's Copper Output Balloons 86% in Q1

MMG's (HKG:1208) copper production rose 86% year over year to 106,601 tons in the first quarter, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Copper cathode production increased by 19% to 11,612 tons in the three months, with zinc output coming in at 51,755, down 13% from a year prior.

The production of lead fell by 23% year-on-year to 8,717 tons, while that of molybdenum was down 17% to 676 tons.
