D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) and Davidson Technologies completed the physical assembly of a D-Wave Advantage2 quantum system designed for energy-based optimization at Davidson's headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama.
Calibration and readiness testing will be conducted in the coming weeks, followed by deployment of the system in accordance with national security protocols, the company said Wednesday in a statement.
The installation is part of a multiyear agreement and technology collaboration between the companies.
Shares of D-Wave Quantum jumped 13% in recent Wednesday trading.
