1306 GMT - Unilever seems confident it can deliver an acceleration in organic sales growth in the second half of the year as it expects a sizeable pick-up in Asia, Barclays analysts say in a note. The U.K. consumer-goods giant had guided for a slow start to the year, but its organic sales growth of 3% in the first quarter was better than expected, Barclays says. Unilever delivered a strong performance in developed markets, even if the U.S. prestige-beauty segment cooled somewhat, according to Barclays. Moreover, cost savings have been accelerated, the analysts say. "Overall we continue to like the medium-term turnaround story," the analysts add. Shares trade 0.3% lower. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
