Blue Star Helium (ASX:BNL) said the Jackson 27 development well at its Galactica project in Colorado was drilled to its final total depth, with gas confirmed by wireline logs, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The well was drilled to a depth of 1,123 feet into the Lyons Formation and completed 60 feet into the upper sand at 1,183 feet, exhibiting "strong natural flow" during drilling and at total depth, the filing said.
Early gas samples are being delivered for laboratory analysis of helium and carbon dioxide concentrations, per the filing.
