Giordano International's (HKG:0709) first quarter revenue rose 3.7% to HK$997 million from HK$961 million a year prior, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Sales in Greater China increased by 6% year on year, while those in Southeast Asia and Australia fell 3.3% and the Gulf Cooperation Council sales saw a 15% boost.
Same-store sales increased 3.7% to HK$669 million from HK$645 million. Global brand sales also hiked 1.7% to HK$1.09 billion from HK$1.07 billion a year ago.
As of March 31, the international apparel and accessories retailer had 1,720 stores, down from 1,794 in the prior year.
