Container Corp. of India Ties Up with GAIL to Develop LNG Infrastructure

Container Corp. of India or CONCOR (NSE:CONCOR, BOM:531344) entered into a memorandum of understanding with GAIL (India) (NSE:GAIL, BOM:532155) to develop LNG infrastructure at various terminals of CONCOR.

This will help provide an uninterrupted supply of LNG fuel for CONCOR's road transportation requirements, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian bourses.

The two companies plan to install an LNG station at CONCOR's terminal at Khodiyar in Ahmedabad, India.

CONCOR and GAIL will also look at collaborating in other areas of mutual interest.
