AnyMind to Acquire Vietnam's Vibula to Boost Social Commerce Push

AnyMind Group (TYO:5027) will acquire Vietnam-based Vibula Group via its local unit, making the social commerce firm a consolidated subsidiary, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Founded in 2021, Vibula offers e-commerce and live commerce services across sectors like health and fashion. It posted net income of 10.1 billion Vietnamese dong (55 million yen) on revenue of 49.9 billion dong (274 million yen) in 2024.

The deal is expected to strengthen AnyMind's social commerce strategy and expands use of its AI livestream platform "AnyLive" in Vietnam's fast-growing e-commerce market.
