4月27日，梅赛德斯-AMG 发布了全新四门电动轿跑车的预告图，这款新车预计将在6月正式亮相。从预告图中可以看出，新车采用了极具运动感的低趴车身造型和流畅的溜背设计，预计风阻系数将保持在极低水平。后部腰线设计突出了力量感，预示着这款车将拥有不凡的性能表现。
车头部分，新车采用圆润造型，细长大灯组配合上扬的“眼角”，显得十分犀利。封闭式中网和宽大的进气口，以及车头中央的六边形凹陷(可能是放置车标的位置)，这些设计细节都彰显了其电动车的身份。
侧面的大溜背造型和掀背结构，以及熏黑多辐轮圈，都让这款车看起来更加低趴和动感。尾部设计同样犀利，临时灯组和车尾线条预示着可调式电动扰流板的配备。
动力方面，新车预计将搭载全新的 Axial-flux(轴向磁通)电动机。这种电机以其体积小、重量轻的特点著称，尽管成本较高，但性能表现极为强劲。据悉，单个电机预计能产生487马力，双电机配置下，系统总功率可能达到974马力，甚至有望突破1000马力大关。
