国泰航空(00293.HK) 公布，往来香港与美国达拉斯的直航客运服务于周四(24日)开通，进一步扩展客运网络。达拉斯为该集团年初至今开通的第6个新客运航点。国泰航空及香港快运今年已公布15个新目的地，未来还会推出更多航点。
国泰航空每周4班香港往返达拉斯的航班，由空中客车“A350-1000”客机营运，备有商务客舱、特选经济客舱及经济客舱。
国泰表示，在今夏旺季每周将运作超过110对航班来往北美8个城市，包括波士顿、芝加哥、达拉斯、洛杉矶、纽约、旧金山、多伦多和温哥华。除达拉斯外，国泰在今年4月28日会开通乌鲁木齐的直航航班，并将于6月5日开通罗马、6月16日开通慕尼黑，以及8月3日开通布鲁塞尔航线。
国泰顾客及商务总裁刘凯诗表示，集团会继续扩展客运网络，以达到今年上半年超越100个航点的目标。顾客可以透过国泰与其他航空公司的代码共享服务，或接驳不同的航班前往美国国内其他城市，也可在达拉斯沃斯堡国际机场续程往中南美洲。
刘凯诗亦指，集团期望达拉斯的居民和更多美洲顾客，能乘搭国泰航空前来香港游览，或经国泰的环球网络转机往其他众多目的地。(js/w)
