运输及物流局表示，2024年度施政报告宣布成立发展低空经济工作组，循多方面推动低空经济发展，其中一项主要工作是推展“监管沙盒”试点项目，目前首批试点项目正陆续启动，涵盖物流、监测、维修和安全检查、紧急救援、基建设施等多个领域，预料低空科技可为社会带来的便利与效益，并让政府及业界模拟多场景、多航线及低空空域管理布局，累积数据及经验，引领法规、基建、应用等不同层面的工作。
当局表示，目前正在全速检讨现行的民航法例和规管制度，目标是在今年第二季内向立法会提交修例建议，包括扩大现行《小型无人机令》(第448G章)的规管范围，涵盖重量介乎25至150公斤的无人机，以加快“监管沙盒”试点项目的推进，配合未来技术及应用的发展。
政府早前公布低空经济“监管沙盒”首批试点项目名单，共推行38个项目，申请机构包括中国移动香港、中华电力、消防处、路政署、科技大学、美团(03690.HK) 旗下Kangaroo Limited、电盈(00008.HK) 子公司电盈工程、香港大学、顺丰及医管局等。(gc/a)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2025-04-25 16:25。)
