Avery Dennison Increases Dividend 6.8%, to 94 Cents

Avery Dennison raised its quarterly dividend to 94 cents from 88 cents.

The new payout, equal to $3.76 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.2% based on Wednesday's closing price of $170.25.

The maker of tags, labels and other specialty materials said the higher dividend will be paid June 18 to shareholders of record as of June 4.
