【以太坊基金会研究员提议在4年内将以太坊gas上限提高100倍】金色财经报道，以太坊基金会研究员Dankrad Feist于4月27日提出EIP-9698提案，计划自epoch 369017（6月1日左右）引入“确定性gas上限增长计划”。这是一个跨度四年的计划，该提案建议在头两年内（即164,250个epoch）限额将逐步以10倍的幅度增加，直至最后再进行一次十倍的增幅调整。理论上，若gas限额增加100倍，以太坊的TPS将有望提升至2000笔。提案需获得客户端投票通过方可实施。 此次扩容尝试是继2月gas上限从3000万提升至3600万后的又一重要进展。Feist指出，渐进式提升方案可为节点运营商留足优化时间。同时开发者正在测试EIP-9678提案，计划在2025年底的Fusaka升级中先行实现gas上限4倍提升。
