Jetblue in Partnership Talks With United Airlines -- Reuters Reports

- Jetblue Airways and United Airlines are in partnership negotiations, Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

- Budget airline Jetblue is seeking a partnership after a federal judge blocked its plan for a so-called Northeast Alliance with American Airlines.

- The structure of the joint United venture would differ from the American deal, focusing on connectivity and frequent flier miles rather than coordination on schedules and pricing.

- A Jetblue spokesperson pointed Reuters to a comment from President Marty St. George on a recent earnings call, saying the airline was negotiating with a larger carrier and expected to divulge details in the current quarter.
