据三名知情人士透露，特斯拉正在大幅加快其Semi卡车的雄心，在内华达州新招聘了1000多名工厂工人，以兑现其多年来的量产承诺。

　　在过去几个月里，这家汽车制造商把新工人带到Giga Sparks工厂接受培训和参观。两名知情人士说，直到最近，该公司还只有不到100名工人负责生产这款卡车，包括在加州的试验生产线上。

　　招聘人数的增加恰逢特斯拉在内华达州的超级工厂为生产Semi而进行扩建。在其网站上，特斯拉列出了与Semi开发相关的80多个制造岗位，从测试和服务技术人员到工程和质量保证岗位。

　　该公司周一发布了一段更新的视频，称工厂已经建成，并开始部署生产线。

　　马斯克在2017年首次发布了特斯拉Semi卡车，并估计将在2019年开始量产。特斯拉于2022年12月向百事公司交付了第一辆Semi，后者在2017年订购了100辆。马斯克当时表示，2024年的产量将达到5万辆。UPS、沃尔玛和好市多也订购了这款电动卡车。

　　最近，在2023年，特斯拉宣布将在内华达州建立一个专门生产Semi卡车的工厂。该公司在今年4月22日的财报电话会议上表示，将于今年年底开始在该工厂生产，并将于2026年开始大规模生产。
