智通财经APP获悉，香港餐饮联业协会会长黄家和称，估计五一黄金周的访港内地旅客数目会比港府估计的84万人次多，对餐饮业的生意有帮助，估计生意额会有约5%的同比增长。
黄家和表示，黄金周适逢周末及佛诞假期，可能有不少港人外游，但相信访港旅客数目可以对冲。如果以黄金周期间，每日约16万至20万人次访港计算，对餐饮业的生意有一定帮助，而坊间各区举行的活动，亦可吸引香港市民消费。海洋公园6只大熊猫，可吸引内地以至东南亚等地游客，不少餐厅亦推出以大熊猫为主题的菜单，有酒店更换上印有熊猫图案的床单，只要各界多做一点、多行一步，整体市面气氛可以得到改善。
