港铁公司(00066.HK) 表示，十分重视近月涉及东铁线工程车的两宗事故，将作出全面审视，并邀请独立顾问参与以提供专业意见及改善建议，公司亦会全力配合机电署就工程车维修及紧急应变方面的特别审核。
港铁因应4月27日的工程车事故展开深入调查，以了解事故原因，并作出后续跟进。至于今年2月发生的另一宗涉及工程车事故，港铁表示在与供应商完成调查后正落实有关优化措施，包括积极检讨应变安排及进行修复训练，强调将就整体工程车车队作多方面审视，包括工程车的设计、维修保养、操作程序及紧急修复流程等。
港铁4月27日有工程车在东铁线火炭站附近发生故障，事故期间来往沙田站至火炭站部分路段需采取单轨双程行车，东铁线整体行车时间额外延长10至15分钟，事故历时约8小时。另外今年2月5日，港铁亦曾有一列用作吊运的工程车在东铁线近太和站附近发生故障，引致服务延误。机电署将就港铁三个月内两度发生工程车事故展开特别审核，以全面检视港铁在工程车维修及紧急应变方面的准备工作。(gc/j)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2025-04-28 16:25。)
