作为中国最大券商之一的中金公司推动全球扩张，正在积极满足海湾国家和东南亚日益增长的跨境金融服务需求。

据中金国际副总裁王汉锋指出，总部位于北京的中金公司注册于迪拜国际金融中心的阿联酋分公司正在积极筹备营业，以瞄准海湾地区的主权财富基金和大型企业集团。继中金越南代表处去年正式营业、2008年在新加坡设立分公司后，该公司也在探索更多东南亚市场的机会。

王汉锋在给彭博新闻社的书面回复中表示：“如果不与世界连接，视野仅仅聚焦于境内，我们的作用就会被稀释”。他指出，中金公司的国际业务和地区布局方向旨在搭建“走出去、引进来”的桥梁。

王汉锋表示，未来重点确保布局高质量共建“一带一路”，包括东南亚、海湾国家、拉美地区、中亚地区以及日韩。

自2013年“一带一路”倡议启动以来，中国通过主要为成员国基建提供资金的发展计划，成功扩大了其全球影响力。中国正积极寻求与东南亚等地区的贸易伙伴建立更紧密的联系，以应对与美国总统特朗普的政府之间日益加剧的紧张关系。

中国券商出海布局也与中国的“走出去”策略以及到2035年形成两到三家顶级投资银行的计划相契合。
