Hitachi (TYO:6501) reported a 26% rise in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 615.7 billion yen for the fiscal 2024.
The multinational company's net sales increased 1% to 9.783 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, according to its Tokyo bourse Monday filing.
For the fiscal 2025, the company expects attributable profit to rise 94% to 710.0 billion yen, while net sales are expected to increase 3% to 10.1 trillion yen.
In a separate filing, the company said it plans to pay a year-end dividend of 22 yen per share, payable from June 5, subject to the approval by the board of directors in May.
