0724 GMT - DHL parent Deutsche Post's first-quarter results were slightly ahead of expectations and the company showed it has offsetting levers against tariff impacts, Jefferies's Michael Aspinall and Kiara Asinobi say. The German logistics company--also known as DHL Group--faces risks given that China-U.S. shipments account for 8% of time definite international services at its DHL Express business, Jefferies says in a research note. Nevertheless, the company demonstrated resilience thanks to pricing, with revenue and earnings at its Express business rising despite lower volumes, the analysts say. Moreover, some of DHL Group's services will be in high demand, Jefferies says. Shares rise 3.8%. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
