Maria Grazia Davino, BYD's (SHE:002594, HKG:1211) chief for Germany and other central European countries, said the carmaker will introduce two new plug-in hybrid models in Germany in 2025, Reuters reported Tuesday.

Davino said that not all customers are ready for full electrification, according to the report. "We find the best balance between what the customer wants and what makes distribution successful."

The electric vehicle giant currently sells only one plug-in hybrid, the Seal DM-i, and plans to build its European lineup around both electric and hybrid "pillars," Reuters wrote.
