Meta Platforms (META) partnered with Cerebras Systems to enhance the performance of its Llama application programming interface, enabling developers to build and scale artificial-intelligence systems more efficiently.
Developers working on the Llama 4 Cerebras model within the API can achieve application generation speeds up to 18 times faster than traditional graphics processing unit-based methods, Cerebras said Tuesday in a statement.
The collaboration builds on existing partnerships and is expected to expand Cerebras' reach to developers.
Cerebras, based in Sunnyvale, California, specializes in creating advanced computer systems for AI applications.
