Philippines' producer price index (PPI) for manufacturing edged up 0.6% in March, softer than the 0.9% rise in the month prior, data from the Philippine Statistics Authority showed on Wednesday.
In March 2024, the index slid 1.2%.
The softer increase was driven mainly by a slower annual rate of the PPI for manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products industry division at 1.3% in March versus 2.1% in the month before, the data showed.
