Accel Entertainment Chief Financial Officer Mathew Ellis has resigned to pursue other business interests.
The gaming operator on Tuesday said Mark Phelan, the president of its U.S. gaming division, will succeed Ellis on an interim basis.
Ellis will leave the company effective May 9, the company said.
Chief Executive Andy Rubenstein said the company is beginning a search to fill the position on a permanent basis with a leader who can help further accelerate growth.
