消息面上，中国抗体近期宣布，SM17在中国治疗中重度特异性皮炎的1B期临床试验中取得积极结果。超过90%的患者达到NRS-4应答，超过70%的患者达到EASI75应答，超过40%的患者达到IGA0/1应答。未发生严重不良事件SAE，也未发生3级或以上的药物相关不良事件。SM17在瘙痒改善指标-NRS-4比例上表现优于IL-4受体抑制剂单抗、JAK抑制剂和IL-31受体抑制剂单抗。
据悉，SM17作为一款全球首创的人源化IgG4-κ单克隆抗体，其价值便在于能通过创新的作用机制，切实解决全球范围内包括AD、哮喘、特发性肺纤维化(IPF)及其他自身免疫性疾病在内的多适应症患者所存在的未满足临床需求。据Precedence research数据，2023年全球特应性皮炎药物市场规模136.2亿美元，预计2034年将达到314.4亿美元。
