LG Display (KRX:034220) earned the TÜV Rheinland certification for its product carbon footprint (PCF) calculation system, the South Korean display panel maker said in a Monday release.
Developed following ISO 14067 standards, the PCF calculation system enables accurate tracking of greenhouse gas emissions across a product's life cycle. It integrates with LG Display's product development processes, allowing quick assessments with minimal input, the release said.
Shares of LG Display fell nearly 1% in recent trade on Wednesday, April 30.
