AMC Entertainment (AMC) said Tuesday it opened the first two extra-large format theaters at its locations in Kansas City.
The extra-large format theaters, which feature screens at least 40 feet wide and 4K laser projection, are at AMC DINE-IN Studio 28 in Olathe and AMC DINE-IN Prairiefire 17 in Overland Park, according to the company.
AMC said it expects to open up to 50 extra-large format theaters at its locations by the end of 2025.
