智通财经APP获悉，4月30日，香港财库局局长许正宇在答复议员时表示，自GEM改革以来，2024年共有三家公司在GEM上市。港交所截至今年三月底正处理超过100宗的上市申请，当中也有GEM上市申请。流动性方面，证券市场成交量屡创新高，包括主板和GEM的整体平均每日成交额按年上升26%。今年首三个月的整体平均每日成交额按年上升144%。GEM于今年三月的每日平均成交额约7800万港元，按年上升77%。在新实施的“简化转板机制”下，今年二月已有一家公司成功转至主板上市。
为了提升GEM对发行人和投资者的吸引力，港交所于2024年一月实施了一系列GEM改革措施。许正宇提到，香港证监会和港交所正推进全面的上市制度改革检讨，包括审视上市要求和上市后的持续责任；检视上市规例和安排，改善审批流程；优化双重主要上市及第二上市门槛，以及检讨市场结构。有关改革会检视不同板块的功能和定位，以更好服务不同类型和背景的企业，包括中小型及初创企业的融资需要。港交所和香港证监会目标在今年内按“成熟一项、公布一项”就不同范畴分批提出优化建议，咨询市场。
