路透香港4月29日 - 汇丰银行$(HSBC)$周二表示，由于交通银行通过定向增发股票进行融资，汇丰对交通银行3328.HK的持股比例将从19.03%摊薄至约16%，汇丰将计入高达16亿美元的损失。
包括交通银行在内的中国四家国有大行3月表示，拟向财政部发A股募资不超5,200亿元（715亿美元），增加核心一级资本nL3S3QD01I。中国财政部宣布将发行首批特别国债5,000亿元人民币，支持中行、建行、交行、邮储银行补充核心一级资本。nP8S3PF04N
汇丰 HSBA.L表示，在交通银行完成增资后，汇丰对交通银行的持股比例将减少约三个百分点至 16%，从而导致税前亏损 12 亿至 16 亿美元。
汇丰银行在其季度利润报告中表示，这项潜在损失将计入损益表，但需视交易完成时间、汇率变化和其他因素而定。汇丰表示，由于持有交通银行股份是出于长期投资的目的，因此这笔损失"不能抵税"，也不会对资本比率或股息分配能力产生重大影响。
