President Trump said his latest deal with automakers on tariffs would offer companies some relief during a transition period.
"It's a little bit of help," Trump told reporters on Tuesday. "We just wanted to help them enjoy this little transition, short-term." Trump is expected to announce the deal at a rally in Michigan.
