May 1 - Apple (AAPL, Financial) is making changes to the leadership of its global government affairs and Apple Music businesses, the latest in a series of internal reshuffles this year.

In the government unit, oversight of teams in Europe and Asia is shifting to Lisa Jackson, a vice president who also leads Apple's environmental and social initiatives. These groups were previously under Nick Ammann, Apple's vice president of global policy. Ammann will now focus on India and China, key regions for Apple's manufacturing and regulatory strategy.

Apple's music streaming business will also get a new leadership setup. Rachel Newman and former TikTok executive Ole Obermann will co-lead Apple Music, reporting to Oliver Schusser, who previously ran the division. Schusser also oversees Apple TV+, sports initiatives, and Beats.

The moves follow other recent leadership changes, including a retail overhaul and a reorganization within Apple's Siri team aimed at revamping the voice assistant.

Apple has not issued a public comment, according to the report. The company is scheduled to release fiscal Q2 earnings results after markets close on Thursday, May 2.
