Corning said Thursday that Operating Chief Eric Musser will retire later this year, and will continue in his current role until his retirement later this year.
The Corning, N.Y., company said Avery Nelson III has been elected executive vice president, effective Thursday, and will assume the role of COO following Musser's retirement.
Lewis Steverson was elected vice chairman and executive vice president, effective immediately, and John Zhang was elected executive vice president and chief corporate development officer, also effective immediately.
