据路透社5月1日报道，总部设在爱尔兰的瑞安航空首席执行官迈克尔·奥利里 (Michael O'Leary）在一封信中表示，如果美国加征关税对其从波音订购的飞机价格产生实质性影响，瑞安航空将寻找其他飞机供应商。奥利里还专门提到，会考虑中国商飞。

瑞安航空是欧洲客运量最大的航空公司，预计将于明年3月接收其订购的210架737MAX飞机中最后29架。此外，瑞安航空还拥有150架737系列最大机型MAX10的确认订单，以及另外150架的选择权，首批交付时间为2027年。

在给一名美国议员的信中，奥利里表示：“如果美国政府继续其不明智的加征关税计划，并且这些关税对波音飞机出口到欧洲的价格造成实质性影响，那么我们肯定会重新评估我们目前的波音订单以及将这些订单转移到其他地方的可能性。”

奥利里补充说，除非关税影响到其波音订单的定价，否则瑞安航空无需购买其他飞机。

报道称，奥利里此举是为了回应美国议员拉贾·克里希纳姆尔提（Raja Krishnamoorthi）要求瑞安航空不要购买中国制造飞机的警告。此前，奥利里表示如果价格合适会考虑购买中国制造的飞机，结果遭到后者警告。

奥利里在信中表示，瑞安航空没有与中国商飞就购买飞机进行过讨论，但如果中国商飞制造的飞机价格比波音的主要竞争对手空客便宜10%至20%，“当然会考虑”。
