CSX (CSX) said Wednesday that the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Forgers & Helpers have ratified new five-year collective bargaining agreements with the railroad company.
The latest ratifications mean CSX has secured deals with 54% of its unionized workforce.
The new packages include improved wages, health care, and other benefits.
CSX said it has yet to secure deals with unions representing trainmen, conductors, and locomotive engineers.
