　　特斯拉首席执行官埃隆·马斯克接连发布多条内容，对《华尔街日报》进行批评，称其行为“有损新闻业声誉”。马斯克表示，“《华尔街日报》发表一篇存在蓄意造假的文章，且未将特斯拉董事会此前作出的明确否认声明纳入其中，这是严重违反职业道德的行为！”

　　此前，《华尔街日报》援引知情人士信息报道称，鉴于美国汽车制造商特斯拉股价下跌，同时部分投资者对公司首席执行官埃隆·马斯克关注白宫事务的举动表示不满，特斯拉董事会已开始认真考虑物色马斯克继任者人选。

　　对此，特斯拉方面作出澄清，特斯拉董事长Robyn Denholm指出，有关董事会已联系猎头公司寻找新任CEO的媒体报道“完全不实” 。
