TAL United closed the unconditional offer to acquire shares in Sin Heng Heavy Machinery after receiving the final level of acceptances for 85,521,408 shares, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.
The shares represent 78.64% of the total issued and paid-up capital of the company.
In an earlier filing, the company said it had received a voluntary unconditional offer to take the company private at SG$0.58 per share by Tal United.
Shares of the company were up nearly 3% in recent trading.
