The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is issuing $100 million in social bonds to finance single-family housing within the state.

The Authority will sell $60 million in 2025 Series C Single Family Mortgage Acquisition Revenue Term Bonds with maturities in 2056. These bonds are not subject to the alternative minimum tax. The Authority will also sell 2025 Series D federally taxable serial bonds in the amount of approximately $14.4 million with maturities ranging from 2026 to 2037. Additionally, three 2025 Series D term bonds in the amount of approximately $25.6 million will be issued with maturities in 2040, 2045 and 2050.

Pricing information was not yet available based on the preliminary official statement posted Tuesday on MuniOS.

The bonds are special obligations of New Hampshire Housing payable solely from the proceeds, moneys, rights, interests and collections pledged under the General Single Family Mortgage Acquisition Revenue Bond Resolution.

Proceeds of the bonds will be used for the purchase of mortgage backed securities to finance single family housing in New Hampshire for eligible persons or families including down-payment assistance loans. Monies will also be used to pay the cost of bond issuance.

Established by statute in 1981, New Hampshire Housing operates rental and homeownership programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining affordable housing. According to its website, New Hampshire Housing has helped more than 55,000 families purchase their own homes and been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 16,000 multifamily housing units.

New Hampshire Housing receives no operating funds from the state government, according to the website.

Moody's Ratings has issued an Aaa rating on the bonds.

BofA Securities RBC Capital Markets and Morgan Stanley are the underwriters.
