Duke Energy Names Ghartey-Tagoe CEO of Carolinas Subsidiary as Janson Retires

Duke Energy (DUK) said Friday that Kodwo Ghartey-Tagoe was named chief executive of Duke Energy Carolinas and head of its natural gas business unit, succeeding Julie Janson, who will retire on July 1.

Ghartey-Tagoe is currently chief legal officer, Duke said.

The utility company also said that Louis Renjel will become CEO of Duke Energy Florida and Midwest, while retaining his position as chief corporate affairs officer.
