LME says it approves resignation of Credit Suisse International as member

LONDON, May 2 (Reuters) - The London Metal Exchange $(LME.AU)$ has approved the resignation of Credit Suisse International as a category 2 member, it said on Friday.

UBS UBSG.S, which is an LME category 2 member, took over Credit Suisse in 2023, in the biggest bank merger since the 2008 global financial crisis.

The LME is owned by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. 0388.HK
