特斯拉董事长罗宾·丹霍姆表示，今天早些时候，有媒体错误报道称，特斯拉董事会已联系猎头公司开始寻找首席执行官人选，这“完全不属实”。特斯拉的首席执行官是埃隆·马斯克，董事会对他继续执行令人振奋的增长计划的才能，充满信心。
另外，马斯克本人也在社交平台上进行了回应：“《华尔街日报》发表一篇故意虚假的文章，并且事先没有得到特斯拉董事会的明确否认，这是极其严重的违反道德的行为！”
