NVent Electric (NVT) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Friday of $0.67 per diluted share, up from $0.61 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.67.
Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $809.3 million, compared with $732.1 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $790.3 million.
The company said it expects Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.77 to $0.79 and sales growth of 22% to 24%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.79 in adjusted EPS on sales of $818.7 million.
nVent Electric also said it raised its 2025 outlook and now expects adjusted EPS of $3.03 to $3.13, from the previous range of $2.98 to $3.08. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.02. Sales growth for the year is now estimated at 19% to 21%, from the previous forecast of 8% to 10%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.24 billion in sales.
