BlockBeats News, May 1st, according to TechinAsia report, Los Angeles-based satellite manufacturer Apex has completed a $200 million new funding round to enhance its standardized satellite platform production capacity. This funding round was led by Point72 Ventures with co-leads from 8VC, and participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Washington Harbour Partners, and StepStone Group.
Since its founding in 2022, Apex has raised over $300 million in cumulative funding. Apex plans to use this funding to improve the operational efficiency of its manufacturing facility, which is currently capable of producing up to 12 satellite platforms per month.
