ManpowerGroup Shares Fall 9% After Semiannual Dividend Is Cut

Shares of ManpowerGroup were trading lower in the after-hours market following news the company had cut its semiannual dividend.

Shares were trading almost 10% lower, at $39.96, in the late trading session. The stock ended Friday's regular session at $44.25, gaining 3.5%.

The provider of talent and employment services declared a semiannual dividend of 72 cents per share. In November 2024, the company declared a semiannual dividend of $1.54 per share.

The company's board considered the current earnings environment and related payout and yield ratios in determining the new dividend, ManpowerGroup said.

The $1.44 annual dividend represents a yield of about 3.2%, based on Friday's closing stock price.
