Vontier (VNT) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.77 per diluted share, up from $0.74 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.72.
Sales for the quarter ended March 28 were $741.1 million, down from $755.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $720.9 million.
The company said it expects fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.70 to $0.75 and sales of $725 million to $745 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.72 in adjusted EPS on sales of $729.8 million.
For fiscal 2025, Vontier reiterated its outlook of $3.00 to $3.15 in adjusted EPS and $2.97 billion to $3.05 billion in sales. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.08 in adjusted EPS on sales of $3.01 billion.
Shares of Vontier were up more than 4% in recent trading Thursday.
