据法新社5月1日报道，美国商业大亨埃隆·马斯克日前表示，在遭遇包括来自特朗普政府内部的阻力后，他对美国政府进行的大规模成本削减行动并没有达到最初设想的效果。
马斯克4月30日对一些美国媒体说：“这取决于……内阁和国会愿意承受多大的痛苦。因为这是可以做到的，但需要应付很多不满。”
报道称，5月1日由多家媒体刊登的这次采访在一次内阁会议后进行的——这可能是马斯克参加的最后一次内阁会议。
人们普遍预计，马斯克将减少其作为政府效率部非官方负责人的工作，转而把更多精力放在陷入困境的特斯拉汽车公司上。
报道提到，从特朗普重返白宫的第一天起，政府效率部的工作就成了头条新闻。马斯克率领的团队进入政府机构仔细检查开支情况，并发起了大规模裁员行动和其他改革。
这些行动使马斯克的公众形象受到打击，特斯拉在美国和其他地方的经销店成为人们发起抗议和进行破坏的场所。
马斯克说，这种经历“并不好玩”。
